TAMOXITECH 20 treats metastatic breast cancer, post-surgery and radiation breast cancer, and reduces breast cancer risk in high-risk patients.

This medicine can block the growth of breast cancer. It works by interfering with the effects of estrogen in the breast tissue.

HOW TO USE TAMOXITECH 20

Read the Medication Guide from your pharmacist before starting Tamoxifen citrate (Nolvadex) and each refill. If you have questions, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Take this medication orally with or without food, once or twice a day for 5 years or as directed by your doctor. Doses above 20 milligrams daily are usually split and taken twice daily, morning and evening, or as directed by your doctor. If using liquid, measure the dose carefully with a special device/spoon. Avoid using a household spoon, as it may lead to incorrect dosing.
